ColorMe is an experiment with color and the internet that heavily relies on a large user base. The site obtains the visiting user's unique IP address and develops a color value based on those integers. Subsequently, the user's color is placed as a square swatch next to the previous user's color. Relationships between color, location and the sequence in which users visit the site will develop to reveal patterns or trends.

In the Name field, you may put an alias or anything you prefer to go by. In the Location field, you may put the city or even your school you are currently using your computer from. If you forget your color, simply click the Show Me link and your color swatch will be marked. If you find another color interesting, click on it and the user's submitted information will be shown.

ColorMe is a non-profit art project dependant on the wide variety of users that comprise the internet. It is not necessary to enter your personal information, but it is a great benefit to the project if it is posted. It allows you to identify with your color and helps us identify the forms that may establish themselves. Your information is confidential and will not be used in any way to contact you and will not be sold to third party vendors.

Without your contribution this site is nothing, so come on and ColorMe!
